Syndicated Articles for Traffic

Welcome back!

Traffic – the lifeblood of all on the Internet. There are many many ways to get traffic, so let’s break it down..first up is Article Marketing. Articles with a resource box linking back to your website can be syndicated out across many websites as webmasters go to these sites to find content to publish. One of the rules is that publishers must keep the resource boxes intact, which means more backlinks and visitors for you! Usually this is the only place you are allowed to place links, not in the article itself, although there are exceptions.

Articles are typically 300-500 words and should identify a problem and partly solve it in the article. You must give your readers a strong reason to click through to your website from the resource box – so a strong call to action is required – that is create a tempting or pain solving reason for the reader to click.

Another tactic could be to break up your article into two parts and have the resource entice readers to your blog to read part 2.

Of course you may not fancy yourself as a writer or not want to spend so much time doing articles and as a marketer online you should get articles written for you as soon as you can so you can concentrate on your business. Luckily there are plenty of article writers out there, here are some resource sites that I use:

    Hi Jerry,

Nice post, I especially liked the tip about splitting the article and posting the second part on your blog I think I might just use that technique.

While on the topic of articles I just want to add a couple of my tips:

    - I surf the most popular articles in a category to find topics to write about. I find a common theme or problem and because they are popular I know my articles will be a big hit

    - If im having trouble with producing good content I use articles off eZine articles and post the authors resource box. This helps them out too, you gotta give back to the community too.

    - Once you have posted the minimum amount of articles to achieve Expert Author status include this on your about page and marketing material. This is great for credibility.

Cool, I hope you find these useful.
