Social Bookmarking for Traffic and Backlinks
Welcome back!
Social bookmarking is another way to get backlinks and traffic to your website. There are a ton of Social bookmarking sites out there but the best way is to go via Socialmarker.com or onlywire.com and set up all the accounts – then when you submit your blog post it will fire through the whole process a lot faster than if you did it individually.
Also check out web2submitter and the video there.
Here are some bookmarking services for your reference:

Hi Jerry,
Sorry about that I though I came back to thank you for your help.. As far as the images go it still a pain in the rear.
It appears that it´s a glitch with 2.7. I have hosted a few photos on bucketshop to see if that would solve my problem, it did to a point, but I am not sure how to get rid of the link back to bucketshop, i.e when you click on the image you are taken to my gallery at bucketshop.
With regard to the problem of the redirect to this other site, I have no idea what is causing that, I will contact Hostgator and tell them. Thanks very much for the heads up on this problem.
Best wishes,
Paull

Hi,
This is my first time on your blog and there are some fantastic things here. I back linked your page on my last post regarding traffic.
Just wanted to say hello and see how you’re doing with traffic generation
and to tell you how the things working out for me.
I would really like to hear everybody’s story regarding traffic.
I will give you my insights to what is working for me.
I went on squidoo and created my first lens which was actually fun.
I noticed that within first 20 minutes after I saved my page there was 6 views already.
I could not believe it.
I also created twitter account and made connection from Squidoo to twitter.
I still need to check how twitter works.
Also I wanted to mention another site that I have not heard anybody mentioned so far.
It is called
http://delicious.com/about
It is social bookmarking site to increase the traffic to your site.
I am creating my account there now and will make a post about it with more info.
I know some people that praise this site very highly.
I really hate to come on here asking people to come on my blog
but sometimes that is the only way to get your ideas through.
I have created testimonial site and would like everyones participation
and believe that this kind of site would help us in the future
when our relationship with Alex expands.
If you are interested in being part of this site or you would like to see
my page at squidoo just to have an idea that will help you to start your page off,
have a look at my blog.
I dont want to mentioned my sites here as I dont find it tasteful.
That’s it for now,
Speak to you soon,

@Paul I hope you get it sorted – I would let WP know – hopefully they can fix in next upgrade.
@Gordan – Thanks! Squidoo is great not just for backlinks but making more appearences in natural Search Engine results.
Remote sites like Hubpages, Weebly, Wetpaint and social bookmarking: Propeller, Mixx and as you say delicious work well too!
@Paul – Thanks Paul – you have a great christmas – just viusiting ur blog now
Hi Jerry!
You’ve got a lot of great content here.
It’s great to have people like you in Alex’s course who have years of experience. Helping out us newer folk. I am sure will pay you back in kind, one way or another.
I especially intend to use your social marker tip to use, but I want to have more content in place before doing so.
Till now I’ve been mainly developing the blog, visiting others, setting up social accts, etc.
I do, however have a student tracking spreadsheet of over 300 so far thats very helpfull and is yours for the asking.

Hi Clayton
Thanks for your kind comments.
It’s definately not an overnight thing, especially if you are doing it all yourself initially.
Tracking spreadsheet sounds interesting! I’ll pm you.
