Hi Jerry,

Very nice strategy and would certainly work for most markets provided you use long tail keywords. The only thing i wanted to add to this as i have always been told this was to better gauge competition that is optimizing for a keyword phrase, you’d want to wrap the term in quotes.

“web prosperity” would tell you more about who is actually optimizing for the term in their titles, meta, etc..

The normal way is more broad and really doesn’t tell you this.

I would be curious to know your feedback on this as again, this is what i was always taught – however it just slips my mind right now the reason.

Hi Ali – yes you are right the results would vary on location too. Also it is a .uk domain and hosted in the UK which will affect things.

I will do more tests..but it gives you an idea on what to look out for.
