Turn off at Christmas and enjoy the break

December 24, 2008 · Filed Under Mindset

Welcome back!

Well it is Christmas eve and I’ll soon be shutting down the computer for a few days.  having a complete break from the ‘tube’ is recommended at the best of times and can clear things up in your mind when you do return to it. I like to think of it as giving the sub-concious mind a break, this is when it works the best and eureka moments more likely pop up.

So this year has been another whirlwind. 2007 was pretty mad, like getting married, jumping out of an aeroplane on a skydive! 2008 was more consolidating – focusing solely on my business. Although the road can be slow and seem like a constant uphill slog, there have been a few breakthroughs.

I’ve learnt a lot more again and coming onto Alex’s program and focused me more than ever – the real benefits is of course meeting and getting to know all the other future stars – the other students.

I’ve learnt too this year that I really need to focus on one project at a time without exceptions. Sometimes I have been involved in more than 5 different projects with different partners at the same time. This does no good whatsoever to delivering a fully focused and profitable project.

Learn from your mistakes that is the most important thing, everybody makes them.

Anyway have to run – have a great Christmas everyone!

    Hi

I know what you mean by focusing and doing more than one project at a time. In the past, I was doing the same as you. I do find that having a mentor AJ in the mix is helping me to connect all the missing dots aswell.

    Happy New Year To All
